2019 Photo of the Week – 01
This morning was quite a foggy morning here in Grand Rapids. This winter has been unusually mild to date. In fact, we have no snow on the ground and it was in the mid 40’s both yesterday and today. After my men’s group meeting was done this morning, we came out of Cornerstone Church where we meet and I was struck by this large tree out in the farm field across the street from the church. The field had corn on it last summer and the cornstalk remnants were all that was left on the ground. I went across the street into the field and took a few pictures of the tree with the foggy background. The sun was just up but not visible through the cloudy fog bank on the eastern horizon. I went back across the street thinking I was done and Bill from my men’s group said to look back again. The sun was just starting to creep above the clouds. So I ran back across the street again and captured this photo which is my 2019 Photo of the Week first picture – Week 1.
